It’s game day (Pats vs. Jets) and you live in enemy territory. Fans of the opposing team will try to distract you (by reflecting light in your face off a mirror), especially while you try to get proper nourishment.

You can’t let them get to you. You have a job to do, your team needs you to cheer them on, so you persevere.

As the game begins you are psyched, your team gets off to a big lead.

Then, in the second half the other team wraps up your offense and takes the lead.

Your team can’t adjust to this new defense and you “spill the crayons”, losing a game you should have won.

This post is dedicated to those people who are forced to live in these kind of hostile environments. It’s not easy, but at least we look good doing it.

I still feel like a 16 year old, so seeing my name with my wife’s name, and our son’s name… on a tree… together like this… at our son’s day care…Â Grown-up times.

Lil’ dude’s cubbie.

Lil’ dude after a long day of running, singing, eating, napping, and drawing.

New day care means new scenes for our walk to the playground.

Sara was back at the playground after spending a month and half with her grandparents who live in Switzerland. Good to see her again.

Kids grow up fast. Soon they will look at trees with their own kids names on em.

We’re almost over adjusting.

Things at Noah’s new day care need to be labeled, so we bought a label maker and I spent some time with it.

Noah talks to his mom about his on-again, off-again drama with those second year molars while we wait for some take-out.

See, pain is “off-again” once we get to the park.

I’m psyched to use my flat-pack cups, bowls and plates.

And I’m psyched on tacos.

Heading home.

This is some “art” in the lobby of a fancy apartment building. If it were up to me, I wouldn’t want statues of bound dudes in my lobby. Just saying…

Noah and I took a trip to the city the other week to see our boy Mike and pick up a present for Kate. Little dudes teeth seemed to be bothering him.

Peep that quality Rest Store packaging. All that for a wedding band.

Noah wanted to see that “BIG!” bird with a patriotic Pendeen.

Thanks Mike
