Winter does that.

Noah Cardiel Holt | My life according to other people
The early days of Noah Cardiel Holt
Oct 18 2009
Noah and I spent an afternoon together last week. So after running a few errands walked around Prospect Park. There’s just something nice about being in the park during the week, especially on a cloudy Fall day. It feels like you have the whole place to yourself.
Noah found this magic stick that could make people disappear. I tried to stop him, but he’s pretty quick.
See? There used to be a dude reading in front of that tree. Vanished.
There used to be a marching band practicing in the field, until the magic hit them. Powerful stuff.

Kate and Noah were at the park down the street as I burned through the last of the work I had to get done. When I was finished I skated down to the park. Noah was a little curious. (Next two photos by Kate)
Then it was time to climb some steps and play.
He’s putting a few steps together every day.

There’s an on going debate about when Noah can get his first 4 wheeler. My dad is ready to get him on one now, but Kate is pretty skeptical and thinks Noah might need to be “double digits” first. When we were up in NH for Noah’s birthday party my cousin Kevin came over with his two sons Dillon and Zack. Dillon who is 5 drove his own 4 wheeler a few miles to get to my parents house.
Noah checking it out.
“Is this how you start it Grampa?”
This is where Dillon realizes that Noah is definitely going to steal this thing, “Brooklyn style”.
Might be time to rethink those age restrictions Kate, everyone’s got a 4 wheeler now it’s no big deal.
