On Sunday we rode over to Williamsburg to see Chris, Christina, and their daughter Ada who was having an afternoon shin-dig her first birthday.\u00c2\u00a0 Christina’s family did it up big, making a great spread of delicious food.<\/p>\n

Christina’s brother Ken tossing ribs, that just came out of the oven, onto the grill.<\/p>\n

After cake it’s time for the Toljabee event<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 In Korean culture it’s where the parents (and grandparents) place a few things out that represent different career paths\/futures for the child on their first birthday then whatever the child crawls to is said to be their destiny.\u00c2\u00a0 Lot’s of pressure.<\/p>\n

Ada chose the stethoscope, which means she might become a doctor.\u00c2\u00a0 Her grandparents were pretty psyched.<\/p>\n

After all that excitement it was time to get Noad (dad) home so we could chill (watch football).<\/p>\n
