This was our last full day up in NH so we got ready to go hang out with (Great) Nana Holt one last time before we left.

Noah was into stealing Nana’s magnets.

Nana pulled out some great photos of her and my grandfather.

Then it was off to see my Aunt Sherry.

We talked for a while, thanking my Aunt Sherry for a great quilt she made for Noah, then out of nowhere it was nap time so we had to go.

It was great to see everyone, and sorry to the people that we missed while we were up in NH. We’ll try to get up there again soon.

Noah and I shoveling the dusting of snow and testing out our new backpack. Psyched to get this one out on the hiking trail. (photo by Kate)

It was pretty cold (2º F I think), so we didn’t stay out long.

A puppet show to warm up.

It worked.

Sketchy looking puppettress.

Later we went to see my good friend Jen who got married, bought a house, and had a kid since the last time I saw her. Meet Cullen. He’s 9 months old and wearing the same size clothes as Noah.

Olivia and Madisyn, Cullen’s older sisters, giving Noah some attention.

The cat was over it.

Madisyn watching Noah chase after a glowing ball.

Thanks for having us Jen and Matt, it was great to see you all.

Kate and Noah have been battling it out all week for title of the most sick. Noah is winning in the category of most photogenic… Kate is winning in the talent division by breathing only out of her mouth for a week straight.

Just to keep the warnings coming.. Warning! My parents have a crazy shower/bath/jacuzzi/football watching/music listening/steaming booth in the basement which has a built in light show that is impossible to resist if you are looking for a place to photograph someone bathing (assuming you have their permission). The warning? You’ve probably seen this bath before, and you’ll probably see it again because Noah and I are psyched on it.

Funny thing happens in some small towns I know. These big stores comes in selling all kinds of goods, and other pharmacies, clothing stores, hardware stores start to close. Then even the people that owned the stores that closed start shopping at the new store. Thing is… No one really know “who” owns this new store, and they don’t sit on community boards, or show up to high school basketball games to cheer on their kids, or sponsor local fishing tournaments. In the end things seems like they work out, and I try to make a conscious choice to just shop somewhere else which is easy for me because we usually bring everything we need. Then somehow we end up there anyway. Drawn in. Like South Park characters. (see also “Meh“)

(Fake) Flower Aisle.

Noah picked out a .10¢ pumpkin.

The toys in pink boxes aisle.

Before we had Noah I never noticed all these “Family restrooms”, nice invention.

Next was lunch at The Dairy Bar, with Sarah and Oliver.

Amazing onion rings.

Amazing haddock sandwich.

Home to Nana and Grampa’s for a nap.
