Couple Saturdays ago.

Mo’ stole Noah.

Roaming knife sharpener.

Kate, hiding out in the drugstore.

Noah hiding out while Kate shopped.

Dumbo and the great new carousel.

Oh hey, a gorilla…

Oh hey! Derby!

Savannah wasn’t into the carousel.

A show. This lady, on the left, drove a nail into her nose. Real kid friendly stuff.

This dude juggled knives on a rope made of toilet paper.

Noah giving Savannah a graffiti tour.

Then there was this.

Done.

One Saturday morning, itching to get out.

Noah still psyched on the American Flag.

We went up to 57th St. to see a few photo shows. Noah made himself at home in the galleries.

Sitting on the counter at the lunch spot.

Central Park.

“Let’s check out this carousel”.

“Whoa, angry horses”.

Noah thinking that I didn’t “sell” this idea well.

Playground. No, really it is.

See, there were things to climb.

Rocks to slide on.

Look, there’s mom watching our stuff.

NYC Parks. Fun for all!

Every Labor Day, Brooklyn hosts The West Indian Day Parade (reluctantly for some), and the Saturday before Labor Day they hold the Children’s West Indian Day Parade. Noah missed a lot of it.

It’s all good though, ’cause I had my friend record it on his iPad.

Grown men DJ’ing.

Parents, parenting.

The parade ends behind The Brooklyn Museum where a big stage is set up for groups to perform.

Savannah was into it.

A couple Friday’s ago, Noah’s day care class had a little party. An emotional affair mainly for the parents and teachers of course. I was in charge of balloons.

More of me with the balloons.

Noah’s teacher, Ms. Michelle, put together a video recapping the year.

Then there was food.

Mia Mae’s brother Sebastian was there…

…and he was ready to swipe Noah’s cupcake.

Zion’s hand, caught up in a few balloons.

Panda “Monster” (there are monsters everywhere lately).

Sneaky panda monster, just waiting to pounce.

Mommy panda monster.

Super sketchy.

Thanks to Noah’s teachers, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Ella, Ms. Alva, Ms. Jackie (Ms. Tiffany, Mr. Logan, Mr. Robert…) for a great year.

After saying goodbye to my parents, we took a trip to Blue Hill, ME to see Jen and Berto who keep a place in NYC, but spend most of their time in Blue Hill. Our house tour started with the garden.

This will be the new master bedroom.

Berto.

The view from Berto’s sister’s porch.

Screened in spare bedroom.

Blue Hill Library where Jen curated a show of local artists.

Unfit gallery behavior.

I was into this top piece is by William Thon.

Back at Jen’s for a snack.

Back at the house, our view during dinner.
