BWAC in Red Hook

Saturday afternoon we went to see Nana T. at BWAC, an art show that she has work in and helped organize.

Nana T!

Nana T., her piece for the show (lower right), and Noah giving me the “get out of here dad, I’m with Nana” face.

This guy! Opa manning the bar.

Noah, still with Nana.

Baby legs.

A sappy couple outside…

Big up Nana T. The show looked great as always.

On Saturday we braved the sun and warmer temperatures to make our way to The Brooklyn Museum of Art to finish up where wet pants left us off.

Tipi!

Native American baby cradles from around 1900.

Lunch time.

Trouble.

Mess at the museum

Good morning Mom! Is that video about firetrucks too loud?

After breakfast we hiked up to the Brooklyn Museum of Art in the rain.

Then… a leaky diaper ended our visit.

Noah was probably in heaven though, pant-less with a fuzzy blanket eating crackers? Sounds good to me.

Trip to Jermandaland.

Last Saturday we geared up to hike (in the slush and snow) over to see Jerry and Amanda.  Amanda is due any day now, so we wanted to give them a little taste of why it’s not worth it… I’m kidding.. (ish).

Amanda, this is what it’s like getting ready.

Lil’ shy dude.

Kate and Amanda talked about the lastest in parenting books, and Noah drew on some paper, and played with some toys.

Jerry and I hid behind our camera’s and talked about how we were going to take over the world.

Then it was time to go. Noah put his coat on, I mean… got back in the backpack.

One last look at that belly before it’s gone.

Here’s a random photo for you to look at while you think about how wonderful it is that a new life will be coming into the world.

About 2 weeks ago…  No school.  Martin Luther King Jr. Day made it “daddy day care” day.  Starring,

A collaborative creation.

Insert one bus ride and BAM! The Brooklyn Children’s Museum.

We met up with Savannah and Derby, and Chester, and Chester’s friend Paxton at the museum…  It was going to be great.  Noah could run around and play…

Or just be shy for a while…

I brought him over to a section where he could make music.

Once he found the DJ booth he was fine.

There was some great fashion at the museum too.  Like this one piece jumper (overalls?) a girl with short straight bangs was wearing.

Noah liked the dirt, Savannah liked the dolls.

Chester!

Yes Noah, that was a little boy with a pony tail on top of his head.

Modeling for a photographer from The Daily News.

The “auspicious one” as seen through a peep hole.

It was time to go and  Savannah was having a hard time saying good bye to a doll she found.

On the walk home, Noah was over hearing all of us talk I guess.

Thanks to Aransas (Savannah’s mom) for inviting us out and showing up like a champ with lunch for everyone.
