The other day Noah got an early Valentine’s Day package from Auntie Mindy. Such a sweet Aunt.

The walk to pick up Noah from day care getting a little brighter.

I told Noah all about Auntie Mindy’s package all the way home, so when he was done with dinner, he was ready to tear into that box.

Laughing at a photo of himself that was in there.

Socks!!!

Over the socks you have on?

Shirts, and pants!!

What else?

A book!!

A card!!

Putting them new socks away (Auntie Mindy washes everything before she sends it).

Thanks Auntie Mindy. Very generous of you.

Rain..? It’s winter. It doesn’t need to rain. It needs to snow. Nothing we can do though but make the most of it. Noah started the day right with some supervised oral hygiene.

Then Noah met some of Auntie Mindy’s friends via web cam.

Kate made some cookies in her new apron.

Here’s a better, unobstructed view of this apron.

Grampa out plowing the slush.

Then Lori and Jaycee came over and Noah helped Jaycee open her present.

Then Noah showed her how to use the cup holder. Kate was still in her apron.

“So.. Jaycee.. What has blond hair and doesn’t float?” Jaycee wasn’t hearing it, mainly because she has to wear earplugs in the bath.

Kate looking a little too comfy with two kids in her lap.

Bed time.

Hey, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Here at www.noahholt.com/blog the holiday recapping continues..
Kate and I went skiing the day after Christmas and when we got home everyone was over to Uncle Gerry and Aunt Paula’s so we walked over, bottle in hand.

When we got there Noah was tearing it up in Aunt Paula’s Tupperware cabinet, with her permission.

Chilling with Nana and Uncle Lenny.

Diaper change distraction with a flashlight Uncle Lenny gave us.

Mallory’s new tattoo.

Auntie Mindy getting used to the struggle to dress Noah so we can get him home and into bed.

The reverse struggle.

After a nap from all that present opening, we took showers, and got dressed, ready to tackle the rest of the day.

Then it was time to put some of those presents Noah got to the test.

Mittens work.

Sled and boots work.

A newish Christmas Day tradition up here, fried turkey.

A turkey so good, Mindy needed three forks.

Nate dawg came over for some Wii hunting…

Kate, of course, had special techniques, and a little distraction action by Noah on her leg.

Rocking back and forth trying to mess up moms shot.

It was a long, but fun day for everyone.

Big day. Jesus Christ was born, Nana Holt was born, and someone brought us all these presents!!! Craze.
Noah needed a quick cracker before tearing into the presents.

First one…

BOOTS!! No more plastic bags!!

Auntie Mindy got a blanket, which is kind of like a Snuggie© but without arm holes.

Kate got a new grill pan, which she loved, but this was her expression for every present. Genuine excitement with no hint of sarcasm. She has an amazing gift.

“This one is for you Nana.”

“This one is for you Auntie Mindy.”

Mittens!!

Mom was psyched for Noah to open this one. What could it be?

Might as well dig in.

Puppets!!!

“Are these puppets my presents or yours?”

Nana got a new leather jacket.

The little present was for Grampa. The big one was for Noah.

A busy morning led to an early nap.
