This is what’s up.

This is a thinly veiled blog about sun.

Friday night we met up with Tim, Ladonna, Chris, Miles, and everyone in their neighborhood at their neighborhood park. We got there right as the sun was starting to go down.

Noah gets distracted by light too.

(Insert photos of us eating, talking with everyone, kicking back laughing…)

If my (photo) weakness is a setting sun, Noah’s weakness is a puddle.

Solid summer night. Thanks or the invite!

Governor’s Island

Saturday morning, getting Noah’s hair did.

At the bank later, confidence on full.

Bike nap.

Strange bugs on this island.

Ice cream break with The Statue of Liberty in the background. If you like those kind of things.

Boat home.

Finding a patch of cement in a field of grass.

The other weekend, Noah still trying to shake of some kind of bug that caused him, and his classmates, to run a fever and break out.

So we took it easy and met up in the park with Louis, his mom Julia, and dad Benoit.

Nathan and Geneva came by too.

Filthy.

Even more filthy..

Then, on the way home, the break out came back.

A week later I can report that Lil’ Dude is doing better, still no clear cause.

Them Cyclones

This is what Noah woke up to (Darpan, Ryan, Mark, and Dennis).

Every summer, Ryan gets his friends together and we all go to a Brooklyn Cyclones game. This year he had 53 tickets spoken for. Impressive. Ryan’s name even made it up on the scoreboard, appropriately under “Our Lady of Miraculous Medal”.

Sleepy dude waking up.

A little too much cheering, too soon after a nap.

Uncle Tim joined us too.

We ran into this dude.

Then we ran into Oliver who was beating up an ice cream cone.

Oliver’s proud dad and little sister.

T-shirt toss!

Ryan trying to out cheer the cheerleaders.

Ryan’s cheering worked, The Cyclones won!

A victory photo for Ryan and Ellen.

Lou and Avi.

The seagull doing some last minute, back-alley autographing.

Later Uncle Tim.

Thanks to Ryan for getting everyone together!
