Lunch.. yum.

Saturday afternoon The Deaner’s invited some friends over for a BBQ, and they let us Holt’s stick around.

The Charest’s came over. Lil’ Tyler’s cheeks got some attention.

I brought some new beer from Brooklyn for everyone to try (*this blog does not advocate, or facilitate, under age drink. Online or in person).

Noah getting batting lessons.

Tyler getting driving lessons.

They boys yelling (roaring) at me.

After dinner, things got romantic on the couch while watching Handy Manny.

Thanks to The Deaner’s for hosting a BBQ, and letting us stay for it. Also big up The Charest’s for making the drive over to chill.

Friday afternoon we packed up the car and drove to Providence to see The Deaner’s. We also got to see some things we didn’t expect, like hours of slow moving traffic and Noah getting sick in the car (probably from watching “Cars”).

Then at a rest stop in Connecticut we saw Jojo!

Third stop, dinner.

After 6.5 hours we rolled into Providence. Psyched to see our friends.

Cleaning up after dropping a cracker, good boy.

Checking out some construction.

After stopping off at home quick for a shirt change and some groceries, we went over to see Savannah (who was also getting a shirt change).

I had to keep reminding Noah that baby Derby’s seat was NOT a potty.

Derby, after a bath, eying Noah and Savannah’s dinner.

Good times, and a great way to get over a long week. Thanks for having us over Andy and Aransas!

Animals, Aunt Lisa, Chilling, Eating, Exploring, Family, Fashion, Grandparents, Holidays, Partying, Uncle Emmett, Uncle Matt (Uncle Bugs)
On Sunday afternoon, before heading out to Emmett and Lisa’s, we wished Nana Holt a Happy Mother’s Day via video conference.

After a quick nap on the drive out, Noah had some business to take care.

In other news, Noah and I came up with a new nickname for Uncle Matt. We are calling him “Uncle Bugs” (he works for the USDA looking for microscopic insects in potato fields). Here Noah is asking Uncle Bugs about this dead bee he found.

Opa got dragged into bug hunting.

A gift (for Noah) from Aunt Lisa.

While we were celebrating Mother’s Day, why not celebrate some birthdays too.

Thanks for having us all over Emmett and Lisa, and thanks to everyone for the great birthday gifts and cards.

Saturday morning The Deaner’s came over, and after saying goodbye to Kate (who went to Aunt Lisa’s baby shower), we walked up to The Brooklyn Flea.

“Flea” food.

After “the Flea” we had a little playground time.

Then we met up with some friends in Williamsburg.

Al, Sam, and Al’s son Rocco.

Amanda posing with “Big” Jim.

Supermom.

Sam and Joshua.

After the bar, and without a nap, we went back to our neighborhood for Mia Mae’s birthday party.

Spaced out kids. Juice and crayons couldn’t get them going.

Audrey and her dad Carlos, handing out high-fives.

This is when both Mia Mae and Noah lost it… too much attention/lack of naps led to meltdowns so Noah and I left for home.

Great to see The Deaners, and Happy Birthday Mia Mae! Thanks for inviting us!
