Spring in Brooklyn!

(Just kidding.. it’s not like that everywhere)

With the weather being warmer, we start hitting the playgrounds again.

Lil’ dude was out of practice and nervous on the tall slide.

Derby!

Later, we met up with Nana and Opa for dinner to celebrate Kate’s new job.

Margarita weather.

Thanks for dinner Nana and Opa!

Children’s Museuming

On Sunday we met up with Tim, Ladonna, Chris, and Miles at The Brooklyn Children’s Museum.

I was really into this steel drum, good thing no one takes photos of me.

Chris got hungry working at the travel agency, so he ordered pizza.

Not sure he ever got his pizza though, the crew working the pizza shop didn’t seem very reliable.

Chilling in the greenhouse.

Build-a-bug.

Miles found some treasure.

Chris wasn’t allowed into one section, it was for lil’ dudes only.

We didn’t last in the lil’ dude section very long though.

Thanks for coming out to Brooklyn kids!

Saturday afternoon at Underhill Playground

Saturday afternoon Noah and I took a walk over to Underhill Playground to see what was going on.

It was fun to watch Noah try out all the toys that were a little too big for him in the Fall, but it was really great to see our friends. Sara!

…and Theo!

When we were leaving, Sara gave Noah all kinds of love. Touching noses…

…and kisses on the cheek.

I guess she misses us too.

Books with Isaac

Sunday morning we met up with Isaac, his parents, and his brand new sister August to go listen to some stories at The Greenlight Bookstore. We got there super early.

We killed some time with food and coffee.

Kate with a book she liked.

Noah with a book he liked.

Mike, Isaac’s dad, found a book he liked.

After the stories we stopped by a park.

Everyone was psyched run around.

Snowboard simulator?

Ohhh… time to go.

Our downstairs neighbor Honey (I told you she was a clown)!

Thanks to Isaac and his fam. for inviting us out.

Valentines Day Pajama Party

Eating, Exercise, Friends, Holidays, Partying, Sappy, School Comments Off on Valentines Day Pajama Party

Noah’s school had a pajama party for Valentines Day yesterday.  We will begin our coverage with photos by Noah’s mother, Katherine.

The post-nap spread…

I covered the second half of this party which continued in the gym with stories by Ms. Gladys.

Then just a free for all climbing, jumping, and singing session.

Zion.

Lil Dude with Logan, Alex, and Audrey singing “No more monkeys jumping on the bed”… as they jumped…

After a quick stop at Opalia, Noah and I were ready to shower Kate/Mom with gifts.

Happy Valentines Day…
