Joshua on Marathon Sunday. His father and 2 older brothers were on the other side of the Verrazano Bride, getting ready to walk/run 26.2 miles. I’m not judging, I’m just reporting the facts.
When Joshua left to head back to RI we walked to the most industrial and desolate place we could find to meet Derby for the first time!
It was business as usual for these two.
“I don’t see what all the fuss it about.”
Savannah went to swim class, we went to watch people run.
After Noah took a nap, we walked back over to meet Derby a second time.
Kate and I both had a cold so we didn’t want to hold Derby, not to mention friends and family were there and we didn’t want to get in the way. Better pictures coming soon, you got my word on it.
Stay tuned.
Familiar scenes from the walk to pick Noah up from day care.
Halloween was on Sunday this year so most big parties were on Friday, but this was the line on Thursday. 3 days before Halloween.
After picking up Noah we (I?) took a new way home and we came across a park that was new to us.
I met Maurico a few weeks ago at an event I was photographing. He gives tours of Brooklyn, and I thought it might be interesting to have him give us a tour of the area around Fulton Mall (where I bought Noah his first pair of Jordans) and Fort Greene.
Noah wasn’t feeling it.
After the tour/nap, the family needed a treat.
Noah with some dude. (photo by Kate)
Lil’ dude likes baked goods.
I made Noah work off those calories.
Found gift.
Gotta love Fall.
On Columbus Day Noah’s day care was closed so him and I hung out. Lucky for him Aransas and Savannah invited us to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden with Sabrina, Amelia, and Seamus.
Straight to the messiest place possible.
Poor Seamus was overdressed and got stuck having to wear one of his sisters old shirts.
The second messiest place.
Everyone waiting on Noah to carry the water pitcher up the hill.
Next stop, the most dangerous place possible.
I think Savannah is telling Noah that the fish had teeth.
Amelia.
