On Saturday the whole Urban clan drove out to (Noah’s Uncle) Matt’s house. The party was a mix of nice-to-see-you, how-was-your-birthday, here-is-your-christmas-present, my-isn’t-the-weather-lovely, Happy-Mothers-Day!! Good times.

Noah started the party right by smacking his face on the pavement.

The bruise on Noah’s face was better than the cut on Matt’s hand. The night before he kept washing (on accident) a glass that had just shattered.

Chilling with Uncle Tim.

Admiring Matt’s odd toy collection.

Matt’s friend Pete. Creepy.

Tim missed Christmas, so when it got cold Emmett gave him his gifts.

Insert me into this photo somewhere.

Thanks for having us out Matt!! And thanks to everyone for the birthday cards and gifts.

After not feeling well Friday night, my Dad/Noah’s Grampa, went to the hospital to learn his intestines were kinked and he was going to have to spend 24-48 hours in the hospital. Bummer. An all ice chip diet and chilling in bed on a warm and sunny Saturday with your grandson in town… big time bummer…

On the bright side? At least his grandson (and son and daughter-in-law) were in town to keep him company.

Aunt Cuckoo (aka Aunt Paula) stopped by.

Aunt Mindy called in via web cam.

Looking around the hospital.

We found this bookcase…

…with a trick door.

Posing for new cell phone backgrounds. Noah now say’s “cheese” when anyone else (besides me) takes his photo. What are they teaching him at day care? How to sabotage my photos? Are the ladies at day care becoming my competition?

Nana showing Noah how to use the remote for the t.v.

Noah telling Grampa that he could’ve shown Nana how to use the remote.

We left Dad/Grampa to rest and went back to Nana and Grampa’s house to have dinner and some cake.

Signing Grampa’s birthday card.

Some light reading then bed.

Sunday we would spring Grampa out of the hospital.

Nana and Opa Urban deserted the family for Easter, choosing to spend their time in Europe.. Fancy. Luckily Kate’s cousin Carolyn and Aunt Diana had us up to their Bronx compound for some festivities.

Noah’s Uncle Tim and I got right to shaving up horseradish, which I volunteered for too quickly.  Never rush to burn out your sinuses. You can see Tim trying to catch his breath. (Photo by Kate. Not my sippy cup)

Victoria and Michelle showed Noah around.

Personalized eggs, fistful’s of bread…

and a big bowl of horseradish.

Noah after getting a good whiff.

After eating we took a trip to a nearby park. Noah took the long way by walking into every driveway.

Cars on I-95.

The park was lawless so we had to break out.

Victoria, Jessica, and I waiting for dessert.

Thanks to the Bronx fam. for having us!!

This was our last full day up in NH so we got ready to go hang out with (Great) Nana Holt one last time before we left.

Noah was into stealing Nana’s magnets.

Nana pulled out some great photos of her and my grandfather.

Then it was off to see my Aunt Sherry.

We talked for a while, thanking my Aunt Sherry for a great quilt she made for Noah, then out of nowhere it was nap time so we had to go.

It was great to see everyone, and sorry to the people that we missed while we were up in NH. We’ll try to get up there again soon.
