Leaves

On Sunday the weather was beautiful, so when Kate got home from Yoga, we went for a bike ride.

First pit stop was the dirtiest place on the playground.

Next stop some leaves, and plenty of sticks.

Driving, Day One

On Friday we set out for NC.  Our plan was to take our time, spend the night in Richmond, VA, and then stroll into Avon, NC on Saturday.

First we had to get the van packed, but Opa was on it…

A late lunch.  Noah had a few bites of a sour pickle.

Traveling, disasters

Eating, Grandparents, Gross, Travel Comments Off on Traveling, disasters

Kate, Nana Urban, Opa Urban, and Noah got back to NYC on Tuesday night from Michigan.  Noah did well traveling, and Kate was feeling pretty good about it until she realized that a can of formula that they packed into the big piece of luggage exploded mid-journey.

Then, during dinner, Noah’s food exploded (or was smeared) all over his face.

I don’t even remember what he was eating.  It kind of looks like black beans maybe?

The Last Days of Cute

I don’t know where it came from, but Noah has this new face he’s been giving us lately. Sometimes he makes it in frustration, sometimes for attention, sometimes it’s just random, but it’s always pretty ugly (no offense to Chris Farley).

For reference here is a before photo. So many cute features…

Video proof in case you don’t believe me. Not the best video I’ve made, but you get the point.

Peas and Carrots

Eating, Gross, Hygiene 3 Comments »

Kate was out last night, so I had the sole duty of feeding Noah (we usually tag-team).

I switched it up by putting together Peas AND Carrots.

Tasted better then it looked.

Keeping Noah clean during dinner has really become a chore for me.  He like to feed himself, or at least grab the spoon and put about 3/4 of the food into his mouth.  Then when I take the spoon away, he uses the backs of his hands to smear the remaining 1/4 bit of food.  I need to learn a new technique.

Bath time.
