Lunch.. yum.

Saturday afternoon The Deaner’s invited some friends over for a BBQ, and they let us Holt’s stick around.

The Charest’s came over. Lil’ Tyler’s cheeks got some attention.

I brought some new beer from Brooklyn for everyone to try (*this blog does not advocate, or facilitate, under age drink. Online or in person).

Noah getting batting lessons.

Tyler getting driving lessons.

They boys yelling (roaring) at me.

After dinner, things got romantic on the couch while watching Handy Manny.

Thanks to The Deaner’s for hosting a BBQ, and letting us stay for it. Also big up The Charest’s for making the drive over to chill.

Friday afternoon we packed up the car and drove to Providence to see The Deaner’s. We also got to see some things we didn’t expect, like hours of slow moving traffic and Noah getting sick in the car (probably from watching “Cars”).

Then at a rest stop in Connecticut we saw Jojo!

Third stop, dinner.

After 6.5 hours we rolled into Providence. Psyched to see our friends.

Animals, Aunt Lisa, Chilling, Eating, Exploring, Family, Fashion, Grandparents, Holidays, Partying, Uncle Emmett, Uncle Matt (Uncle Bugs)
On Sunday afternoon, before heading out to Emmett and Lisa’s, we wished Nana Holt a Happy Mother’s Day via video conference.

After a quick nap on the drive out, Noah had some business to take care.

In other news, Noah and I came up with a new nickname for Uncle Matt. We are calling him “Uncle Bugs” (he works for the USDA looking for microscopic insects in potato fields). Here Noah is asking Uncle Bugs about this dead bee he found.

Opa got dragged into bug hunting.

A gift (for Noah) from Aunt Lisa.

While we were celebrating Mother’s Day, why not celebrate some birthdays too.

Thanks for having us all over Emmett and Lisa, and thanks to everyone for the great birthday gifts and cards.

Sunday was not only Mother’s Day, it was also Kate’s Birthday, and this year Noah really out-did himself. He came home from school on Friday with a bunch of great things he had made.

A custom pot with mystery plants.

A custom pot holder.

A great card…

…with an awkward quote.

Mystery food stuffs.

Which turned out to be a rice-crispy-treat-type-thing made with healthy sunflower seeds.

Happy Birthday and Happy Mother’s Day!!! (Sorry for shoving a camera in your face so early in the morning!)

Easter morning, a bucket left for Noah…

After we tore apart the Easter Bucket, and got cleaned up, we walked over to Nana and Opa’s for lunch with the family.

Victoria (who Noah calls “Micky”).

Custom eggs, as always.

Another bucket/basket left for Noah at Nana’s.

A little walk after lunch.

Uncle Matt banged up his knee, so Noah coached him to the park.

Playing with some parachutes.

Our audience.

Hug-fest, as always.

Back at Nana and Opa’s we dug into the cookies that Kate and Noah made the day before.

Mmm… Holidays…
