We had a special guest in mid-November… Aunt Mindy!

After hugs, and kisses, and cuddling we took a walk to Prospect Park.

Lakeside.

Nathan (who plays plays hockey every week and is super good at ice skating and came to heckle) met up with us.

Noah’s classmate Lola was there with her sister.

He’s quicker without those two front teeth weighing him down.

Noah’s school, PS 133, holds a Fall Festival every year to build community, raise funds, and have fun.

The candy table is always popular.

Decorating planters.

Decorating pumpkins.

Steel drum band!

Young sluggah.

A few days before the Fall Festival we found out that Sara, who went to day care with Noah when he was 2-3, was going to be going to PS 133 now! Here are some flashback photos of Sara with Savannah, and then another 8 months later pushing Noah at Underhill Playground.

Here she is grown up with colorful nails, making some spin art!

In October, Lego opened a new store in Madison Square Park. To celebrate they held an event where kids (and some adults) could help create a replica of the Statue of Liberty.

After lunch we met up with classmates for some roller skating at Lakeside in Prospect Park.

The trailhead we were trying to find the day before was super easy to find, when IÂ knew where to look.

Our trail leader.

Nature is amazing. When this tree fell over it picked up the boulder it had grown around. How long until that boulder falls to the ground as the tree decomposes?

“Just keep climbing!”

Peaked.

Over it.

Noah was trying to head back down almost as soon as we got to the top. He was cold so I told him to take shelter in the trees while I took a couple of photos.

It only “looks” like he turned to stone.

The descent.

The reward.
