Music Recital

This can’t be good…

On Friday Noah’s school put on a music recital. These are the 1-2 year olds.

One of the 1-2 year olds, Langston, did a solo (“Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”).

Next up was Noah’s class, the 2-3 year olds. Alex and Logan started things off.

Lil’ dude on the left.

Noah wasn’t really feeling it, and when his survival instincts kicked in he treated the performance like a bear attack and played “dead”.

Leo.

The 3-4 year olds. Our friend Ryder holding the “Hat” sign.

The grand finale.

Field trip!

I had a tough (voluntary) assignment on Wednesday, chaperone Noah’s class to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

It was a bit of a rough start. Noah, who’s always been against “costumes”, didn’t want to wear the yellow t-shirt. He also didn’t want to put on sunscreen, or carry his backpack, or walk… or even go on the trip, but we made it through, damp eyes and all.

Noah C., the other “Noah”.

Back to school.

I’m gonna take it slow over this Memorial Day Weekend and recover.

What our walk home looks like

Window art at Noah’s school, not done by Noah.

It’s been raining a lot. Noah is eager for time at the playground, and I’m eager for time photographing him outside. Neither of us are getting what we want, but the other day the rain held up so we could take our time walking home.

The grass is thriving after all this rain, but some things are still struggling.

Looking for trains, coming up empty.

Friday Dinner with The Savas’

Cleaning up after dropping a cracker, good boy.

Checking out some construction.

After stopping off at home quick for a shirt change and some groceries, we went over to see Savannah (who was also getting a shirt change).

I had to keep reminding Noah that baby Derby’s seat was NOT a potty.

Derby, after a bath, eying Noah and Savannah’s dinner.

Good times, and a great way to get over a long week. Thanks for having us over Andy and Aransas!
