The other weekend Aunt Mindy came down to visit and got a quick tour of Noah’s school.

A quick stop at Lulu’s for a couple animals.

Kate and I had a “wig and wine” party to go to for Andy’s 40th Birthday that night. Noah in Kate’s wig.

Kate in my wig…

Before we left we set up Aunt Mindy and Noah with the spin art machine that we are borrowing.

A bunch of hours later, after the party, and a little after Noah’s bedtime…

…the Red Sox game was still on, Nate was over, and Noah was hopped up on pudding that Nate put chocolate chips in.

They had a little factory going.

Party!

Noah made a new friend.

The maze included a word puzzle and 9 mailboxes that we needed to find.

A couple weeks ago, Nana and Grampa Holt came down to Brooklyn for a visit, and we got to bring them to the Fall Festival for Noah’s school PS133.

After buying a bunch of tickets, Noah focused in on what was important.

Next up, Mom and the spin art machine that Ben lent us.

Ninja style sliding.

Horse ride.

Pony ride.

More sugar.

Helping mom.

Later, at our apt, making “Shrinky Dinks”.

Pretty cool. You color them, then put them in the oven and they shrink to 1/4 their original size.

Waking up in Providence at the Deaners house the morning after an amazing Patriots game. Noah left Julian a drawing.

Waiting for breakfast.

The boys with their own table. Noah had crepes.

The garnish left with us.

After breakfast we checked out Joshua’s new office!

Sorry for not taking better flicks of the space. Joshua did a great job with this, it really looks great.

Noah liked the big chalkboard.

Noah brainstorming Joshua’s new logo.

Saying goodbye…

On the way home we made a stop at the Mystic Aquarium.

They have 4 beluga whales!!

Feeding rays.

Mocking a sea lion.

An octopus and it’s toy.

A few more minutes with the beluga’s before we got back in the car.

After the party for Nana T., we stayed out on Long Island and met up with Brooklyn friends for a tour of carved pumpkins.

Chester and Savannah.

Great fall night.

So many pumpkins.

Van Gogh’s “The Starry Night“.

This was at the end, I think the carvers ran out of ideas.

Recapping our adventure.
